After graduating with my Bachelors in Film Production in 2011, my passion for creating branded content has driven me to produce, shoot and edit countless videos all over the world with some of the greatest athletes, brands and corporate clients.
Previous to Levels, I was a Camera Operator and Editor for several production companies where I shot and edited videos on a freelance basis. During this time, I collaborated on projects with Halo Neuroscience, Mohegan Sun, MTV, IBM, PIMCO, Lord & Taylor and many others. I was also a full-time Video Producer for nine years at a mid-size global bicycle brand called Jamis Bikes where I created hundreds of their videos, established and managed their social channels and shot a majority of their lifestyle photography.
My first freelance shoot with Levels was in October 2020 and this is what made me aware of their product. I always understood the importance of sleep, staying fit and eating healthy but without tracking the results of how your body metabolizes your food in real-time, I felt it was impossible to know if I was making the right choices. Since everyone reacts differently to different foods, Levels helps you know what’s truly metabolically healthy for your body. I’m ecstatic to be a part of this mission as their new Multimedia Producer. I’m also looking forward to helping Levels grow their video content and manage their podcasts to spread more awareness on how we can change everyone’s lives.
I’ve always been drawn to the intersections of medicine, tech, and business. During my undergrad at Stanford, I studied human biology and applied math, completing a Howard Hughes research fellowship. I also spent a summer at Goldman Sachs; moving between the worlds of science and business energized me.
After graduating, I worked in private equity, investing in health tech companies. I loved the rigorous, analytic thinking required to understand companies through an investor lens, which still forms the backbone of my approach to most problem-solving.
In search of deep clinical expertise, I next went to medical school at UPenn, where I served as a Gamble Scholar and got an insider’s view into how patient care really works (or doesn’t). Based on this experience, I founded a Y-Combinator backed digital therapeutics startup, the beginning of a multi-year adventure as a healthcare entrepreneur. Most recently, I led Strategy & BizOps at Verily, heading up Product Strategy for MedTech and Devices, including wearables, digital biomarkers, and emerging products.
After several family members had heart attacks in their 40s and 50s, and -- despite being a life-long runner -- I was diagnosed with prediabetes in my 20s, I started a metabolic health journey that ultimately brought me to Levels’ waitlist. Now, I’m incredibly excited to join the team as Head of Clinical Product and can’t wait to push our mission forward together.
