Who we are

Levels is a startup on a mission to solve the metabolic health crisis by improving people's metabolic health. If you want to know what we're all about, you should check out The Secret Levels Master Plan (just between us). We raised our Series A in April 2022, from our members through a crowdfunding effort, from Andreessen-Horowitz, and from a selection of founders and operators.

Poor metabolic health is a risk factor for many diseases, and few people have the right tools to create positive feedback loops with their diet and exercise. We've seen massive value of using wearables, including continuous glucose monitors, to help behavioral change.

Though we’ve been around for just over two years, we’re still in startup phase – so we’re looking for people who are comfortable with ambiguity and having wide impact. We've been remote-first since day one and work as asynchronously as possible. We care a ton about communication, effectiveness, ownership, curiosity, and initiative.

We launched out of beta earlier this year, and have thousands of happy paying customers who are using Levels to stabilize their energy levels, lose weight, optimize athletic performance, and learn strategies to reduce risk of chronic disease. Customer excitement has been off the charts.

Our team is highly experienced, and has started and sold companies before. We love learning from each other, and are looking for people who bring a new set of experiences and backgrounds to our team.

We're a remote, distributed, and async-first team, and we're looking for someone that’s excited about embracing and promoting our values to help us build and improve our people-centric company culture.

About the role

First and foremost, we're looking for someone who is excited about what we're doing – you don't need to to be an expert in metabolic health, but should be excited to learn and engage in the space.

This role is our first dedicated hire in the people space. Until now, this has been a shared responsibility between our co-founders, operations, legal, and finance functions. We’ve benefited from keeping some of these responsibilities close so far, but at 55 global employees it’s time for us to bring on a dedicated hire.
