The things that really stood out:

  1. Consider naming the feature of recurring CGM delivery. Amazon's Subscribe and Save, Chewy has a Smart Ship previously called Auto Ship.
  2. Build prediction models for churn - we are starting that now with cohort analysis etc.
  3. "Any great subscription product has a negative consequence of leaving." — not sure how we do this one given our users own their data.
  4. OG/Founding Member needs some kind of hook. Maybe a lower/locked in intro price or mission patch. Similar to AMEX "member since…"
  5. Mentioned that Costco makes all its money from membership fees and not products. Sounds familiar :)
  6. We discussed Prime's monthly payment option which I actually wasn't aware of
  7. Talked about selling convenience/time saving vs. the actual thing. Eg. give away the software, sell the medical consults, CGMs, etc. the convenience is valued.
